Welcome to Crafty.pbwiki.com!

I'm hoping that, at the very least, this will be a good place the very clever and crafty chicks that I know to store information that we know about creative crafts. Who knows? Maybe this will take off and lots of strangers will end up contributing some wonderful articles to this!

Here are just the first couple of articles of our wiki:

Thanks, Wendy, for adding the Sock Information!

It's not much, I know, but I'd love it if you would feel free enough to add your own articles. And PLEASE! The point of a wiki is to have everybody contribute. I've started a few skeletons of a few articles. YOU ARE WELCOME TO EDIT MY ARTICLES AND ADD ANY ARTICLES YOU THINK WOULD BE HELPFUL TO OTHERS! (I WANT you to!) That's the beauty and strength of a wiki -- everybody contributing to create a more comprehensive reference.

Feel free to start new articles about any topic you want. Even if you only have one link to some free knitting patterns, start a link to "Knitting Patterns" and get that thread going! This free software makes it very simple to add articles. As you read articles and say "Well, she forgot some of my favorite sites!" then I hope that you will add those links in for everybody to take a look at.

If you've received any of my time-wasting emails throughout the work week, you know that you have a choice: continue to receive hordes of email box clogging emails from me whenever I stumble upon yet another cool craft site or... make this one repository interesting enough so that it becomes something that takes off...

Below is some information on how you can get started (or just click the new page button at the top and go, go, go! If you don't see the new page button, then you have to log in using the button at the upper right. Use the password "knitty." You can then edit this page to add a link to your new page).

Also, please, please, please feel free to invite anyone you know to this wiki! The more the merrier!

Your craft-obsessed friend,

Molly

This is a cool website where you can buy and sell crafts online. Some really fun stuff. Some of you crafty folk might consider selling your unique and one of a kind pieces here: Etsy - http://www.etsy.com/
